Go Security Solutions is committed to full compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This statement outlines how we adhere to the eight conditions for lawful processing of personal information.
1. Accountability
Our directors are accountable for ensuring all personal information processing complies with POPIA. We have appointed an Information Officer who oversees our data protection practices.
2. Processing Limitation
We process personal information lawfully, in a manner that does not infringe on the privacy of the data subject. We obtain consent before processing where required.
3. Purpose Specification
Personal information is collected for specific, explicitly defined and lawful purposes related to our security, cleaning, training and related services.
4. Further Processing Limitation
We do not process personal information beyond the original purpose for which it was collected without further consent.
5. Information Quality
We take reasonable steps to ensure personal information is complete, accurate, not misleading and updated where necessary.
6. Openness
We are transparent about our data processing practices. This statement and our Privacy Policy provide clear information about what we collect and why.
7. Security Safeguards
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from loss, damage and unauthorised access.
8. Data Subject Participation
